AR Firefighters Respond to Recycling Facility Fire

Rogers (AR) firefighters and crews from several other agencies responded to a large fire at a recycling facility.

According to 5 News, police reported that two people were injured in the four-alarm fire at Marck Industries, a recycling and waste management company.

Firefighters from more than a dozen departments responded to the fire at 3507 N. Arkansas St. The first call came in at 3:04 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, according to a release from the department.

Firefighters contained to the property of origin and remained on scene into Thursday.

According to the release, in addition to Rogers firefighters, members from Bentonville, Fayetteville, Springdale, Pea Ridge, Lowell, Cave Springs, Avoca, Beaver Lake, Hickory Creek, Highway 94 East, Farmington, Little Flock, Pleasure Heights, and XNA fire department responded to the scene. In addition, the department extended its thanks to Rogers police and central dispatch, Washington County DEM, Benton County Fire Marshal, and Arkansas Forestry.
