Arson Suspected in MO Apartment Fire That Killed Two

According to a report from FOX4, fire investigators now believe a fire that erupted in a three-story apartment building at the Vivion Oaks Apartments in Northland, Missouri, which killed two was intentionally set.

Fire crews arrived and worked quickly to douse the flames. Some witnesses on scene claim they heard a large boom, followed by the sound of smoke detectors going off.

Fire investigators said the burn pattern from the first to the third floors as well as the speed of the fire spread indicates that the fire was purposely set.

A few minor injuries have been reported.
