Fire tore through a restaurant Monday night in New Haven, Connecticut, causing a partial collapse and injuring at least two firefighters.
WSFB reported that at one point 15-foot flames were shooting out of the roof of Delaney’s Tap Room, a popular establishment in the Westville section of the city.
In the video below, New Haven Fire Chief Allyn Wright offers an update from the scene.
Firefighters were still hitting hot spots hours after the initial call.
The local FOX affiliate reported (http://bit.ly/YWAeRb) that started when a charged electrical wire snapped, spread into the walls and spread across the building. The building is reportedly a total loss.
