Atlanta Firefighters Rescue Man Trapped in Mud

Firefighters rescued a man trapped in mud at a construction site Saturday in Atlanta, Georgia.

Firefighters aren’t sure how long the victim was stuck there before someone spotted him and called 911. The man was so deeply covered with mud that he was barely visible to rescuers, according to a New York Daily News report (http://nydn.us/H0fnPP).

After pulling the man’s face up so he could breathe, firefighters were able to get him out within an hour using a ladder. During the rescue, a firefighter also became temporarily stuck in the mud.
