Austin (TX) Firefighter Wins 2020 World Combat Challenge Open Category

The World Combat Challenge Championship was held this year in Irving, Texas, on October 22-25, 2020. More than 100 contestants competed in the over-40, over-50, and over-60 categories as well as the open category for younger contestants.

The winner of the open category and winner of the World Combat Challenge earns the title of “King Of The Jungle.”  This year’s winner of the World Combat Challenge open category is Firefighter Jared Johnson of the Austin (TX) Fire Department. Watch some video from the finals above by Ricky Stephens, Miami-Dade (FL) Fire/Rescue.
