Austin (TX) Firefighters Respond to Three-Alarm Apartment Fire

Austin (TX) firefighters responded early Thursday to an apartment fire that went to three alarms, according to reports.

The fire occurred around 3:20 a.m. at Cannon South apartments, according to FOX 7 News. The department reported the address as 117 W. William Cannon.

The fire originated on a corner balcony and has extended to two connected buildings. FOX 7 reported that the fire was under control. One resident refused transport for smoke inhalation, and no other injuries were reported.

The smoke alarm reportedly did not sound in the first building that caught fire, the report noted.
