Gaston County officials are looking for a teen in connection to a deadly house fire early Monday morning, reports wcnc.com.

The fire happened at a home on Ridgewood Court and Kem Lane around 5 a.m. in Mount Holly.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they found smoke and flames coming from the home. After extinguishing the flames, firefighters discovered two bodies inside the home.

Officials said they are looking for a 17-year-old Treyvon Berry, who may be driving a 1995 green Chevy Suburban with NC tags CDV-1753.

Authorities said the teen is known to reside at the home where the fire was early this morning.

Officials have not identified the two victims killed. Several fire crews are still on scene investigating the cause of the fire.

Monday afternoon Assistant Chief Joseph Ramey confirmed that one man and one woman were the victims of a suspicious fire.

Ramey also said that so far the Gaston County Police Department has not received any calls about the green 1995 Chevrolet Suburban. Police are still looking for 17-year-old Treyvon Berry, but they are not calling him a suspect.
