Firefighters Extinguish Baldwin (NY) House Fire

A Baldwin (NY) house was heavily damaged by fire on Saturday evening, June 18.

Firefighters in the Roosevelt Fire District received the call for a fire in a home on the corner of Cramer Court and Brookside Avenue just after 7 p.m. and on arrival found smoke and flames coming from the ranch style house.

Mutual aid companies from several communities were called to the scene to assist with the extinguishment.

Red Cross representatives were also on hand to provide aid to the the displaced residents.

There were no serious injuries reported.
