A fire burned several buildings in downtown Bamberg, South Carolina.
According to WIS News, the fire Tuesday night began in an antique shop and involved four different buildings. One of the buildings collapses, and another had to be razed, but there were no reported injuries.
All the fire departments in Bamberg and two from Orangeburg County responded to the scene.
“This is the nightmare we’d been hoping wouldn’t happen, but it did happen,” Bamberg County Fire Chief Timmie Taylor told reporters.
