Bartlett (IL) Firefighters Contend with Heavy Fire in Home’s Attic

At approximately 12:30 hours, Bartlett (IL) Fire Protection District firefighters were dispatched to a reported house fire at 223 Buckingham Court.

Bartlett Engine 2 was first on scene and reported heavy smoke and fire on the first and second floors of the structure.

An interior attack was started. Fire photographer John Tulipano arrived at 12:53 p.m. to find heavy fire in the attic; companies were being ordered out of the building while Bartlett Tower Ladder 3 was used to knock down the heavy fire in attic.

The fire was under control in approximately one hour.
