Body Found at Fire Scene at Fullerton CA

Firefighters responding to a fire at a Fullerton (CA) storage facility Friday discovered a scorched body inside a car at the scene, reports the Los Angels Times.

Firefighters arrived to find three storage units and a passenger vehicle engulfed in flames, according to Cpl. Tim Kandler of the Fullerton Police Department.

Once the fire was put out, authorities found the body in the driver’s seat of the car and alerted police.

Kandler said investigators believe the vehicle crashed into a storage unit but have yet to determine how the fire started or how the victim died.
