Boise (ID) Firefighter Injured in Fall from Loading Dock

A Boise (ID) firefighter was injured when he fell off a loading dock at the scene of a fire at an industrial linen company.

Battalion Chief John Peugh said one firefighter was transported to a hospital in Boise after suffering a knee injury while exiting the building, according to KTVB (http://bit.ly/1jG3l1e).

As the firefighter exited the building, there was a lot of smoke in the area of the loading dock. The firefighter reportedly stepped off onto his knee and was injured.

Authorities believe an industrial dryer caught several small clothes bins on fire around 2 a.m. The smoke and flames triggered an industrial sprinkler and set off an automated alarm.
