A firefighter sustained minor injuries while responding to a fire in Boonsboro, reports Herald-Mail Media.

The firefighter’s injuries resulted from falling on debris, according to a company supervisor.

The fire took about 20 minutes to get under control and was ruled accidental. A preliminary investigation determined the fire was caused by an enclosed generator overheating.

The estimated loss includes $45,000 in structural damage and $5,000 in contents.
