Boston (MA) Firefighters Respond to Six-Alarm Fire

Boston (MA) firefighters responded to a fire that went to six alarms on Ellington Street and impacted multiple buildings in the Dorchester neighborhood.

Crews responded to the fire Saturday afternoon around 4 p.m. Two multifamily homes were badly damaged, according to WCVB.com. One resident was transported and 29 others were displaced by the fire.

According to the Boston Herald, the fire engulfed two residences, and Boston Fire Commissioner Paul Burke told reporters that the fire department was concerned the fire would extend to other buildings in the densely packed neighborhood.
