Braun Industries Enhances Ambulance Sales Team

Celebrating 40 years as a custom ambulance manufacturer, Braun Industries has earned a reputation for quality products and exceptional customer service. A family-owned and operated company under the leadership of the third generation, Braun Industries treats all of its employees like part of the family. That’s why it’s particularly pleased to announce the promotion of Penny Richardson and Travis Parsons.

Penny Richardson started with Braun Industries in Regional Sales Support in November 2007. With a proven record of exceptional work, Penny was recently promoted to Regional Sales Manager. In her new position, she will oversee the mid-west region by providing support and training to our network of ambulance dealers. She will also work with factory direct customers to design and build a custom ambulance that meets their needs and fits their budget.

One of Penny’s favorite memories of working at Braun was during her first year. She had the opportunity to redesign product literature that would be released at FDIC. At the show, Phil Braun (President of Braun Industries at the time), saw the literature for the first time. He walked over to Penny and gave her a big hug and thanked her for working so hard to accomplish the project; he loved the new literature! Phil’s children, Kim Elick (President) & Scott Braun (Vice President), carry on this tradition of making sure employees are treated equally and fairly, but more importantly… like family. Penny considers this to be a big contributor to her success and the continual drive to do her best at Braun Industries.

Travis Parsons started with Braun in 2006. Since then, he has held several positions, each time working his way up the ladder with increased knowledge and leadership skills. He has been an Interior Prep Operator, Chassis Prep Operator, Interior Prep Team Leader, Final Assembly Coordinator, and Chassis Prep Coordinator. Travis was recently promoted to Sales Engineer.

As Sales Engineer, it is Travis’ primary job responsibility to review the orders as they come in to make sure they are complete. This is particularly important since every Braun ambulance is custom handcrafted. With Travis’ previous experience on the production floor, he has a substantial amount of insight on Braun’s ambulance models. Leveraging his first-hand experience, he’s able to work with customers, dealers, and the production team to make sure Braun’s ambulances are built and delivered exactly as the customer wants.
