A six-alarm fire wrecked a row of stores in the Bronx early on Thursday, September 2, 2010, injuring 12 fireighters, reports said. According to Fire Department of New York (FDNY) officials the fire began in a record store a little after midnight. More than 200 firefighters responded to the incident, which took about five hours to extinguish. Most of the firefighters suffered minor injuries, but officials said one firefighter was hurt more badly than the others.
