Numerous Injuries Reported in Bronx (NY) Fire

More than a dozen people were injured in a fire early Wednesday morning in the Bronx.

Firefighters responded to a fire in the three-story building in the Olinville section. Reports variously indicated that between 15 and 19 people were injured, with some forced to jump to escape the fire, which began on the ground floor. Two people were critically injured.

A firefighter jumped on the roof of a car to help one of the jumpers, according to CBS New York. Video shows the member scrambling atop the car to rescue the occupant.
