A three-alarm fire burned out of control early Sunday morning April 9 at a storage warehouse on Walton Avenue in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx, New York, just off the Major Deegan Expressway.

The fire began around 12:30 a.m. in a six-story commercial facility and burned into the morning hours. Fire officials performed an exterior attack because of the structural stability of the building.

About one hundred firefighters were on the scene with only one minor injury being reported.
