Fire officials say two firefighters were hospitalized after battling a four-alarm fire in Brooklyn (NY), reports Wall Street Journal.
The two firefighters were taken to Weill Cornell Medical Center. One of the hospitalized firefighters suffered minor injuries. The condition of the second firefighter was not immediately known.
Fire officials say at least eight other firefighters and three civilians also suffered minor injuries.
Authorities say 168 firefighters responded to the fire, which was declared under control at about 3:30 p.m. No word on the cause of the fire.
