Brooklyn (NY) – Firefighters fought a two-alarm fire in Brooklyn early Friday that left a woman dead and her two sisters in critcal condition.
The flames broke out on the second floor of 293 East 8th Street in the Kensington section just before 5:30 a.m. The fire quickly spread to the third floor, and the blaze went to a second alarm about a half hour later.
Firefighters were on the scene within minutes and worked to get the fire under control.
