Producers and cast members of “Burn: One Year on the Front Lines of the Battle to Save Detroit” will be on the December 16 Tailboard Talk program on Fire Engineering Talk Radio. They will be talking with hosts Craig Nelson, Dane Carley, and Jeff Wallin about the making of the film, firefighting in Detroit, and the issues it addresses. Listeners are encouraged to call in live with their questions and comments.
The “Burn” Kickstarter campaign ended successfully December 1. The funds raised with the Kickstarter campaign will get filmmakers through the next stage of post-production, although they’re still fundraising and looking for corporate partners to get them through delivery and distribution.
Producers Tom Putnam and Brenna Sanchez as well as several Detroit (MI) Fire Department firefighters will be on the show. “Please help raise awareness for this important project,” Craig Nelson said. “Then, join us on Tailboard Talk December 16 to celebrate meeting the fund raising goal by listening to and talking with those involved with making this film possible.”
