A California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection captain was seriously injured Friday night when part of a burning two-story house in Copperopolis (CA) collapsed. She was still in serious condition in a local hospital as of yesterday, according to a report from The Modesto Bee (http://bit.ly/tPXoXQ).
Two other firefighters suffered minor injuries in the incident and have been treated and released. The firefighters are from Cal Fire’s Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit. The incident is under investigation.
