CA Firefighters Narrowly Escape Strip Mall Fire Collapse

According to a report from ABC7, dramatic video has been released of two Orange County (CA) Fire Authority (OCFA) firefighters barely escaping the flaming, collapsing façade of a strip mall in Garden Grove, California, Thursday night.

More than 40 firefighters responded to the strip mall in the 12500 block of Valley View Street just after 8:40 p.m.

The OCFA said they extinguished the flames at around 9:37 p.m. No one was injured in the incident.

It’s unclear how many businesses were damaged by the blaze, and the cause of the fire is now being investigated.
