A Fresno (CA) firefighter is in critical condition after falling through the roof at a house fire yesterday, according to news reports.
KFSN (http://abc30.tv/1IJeae5) notes that the fire occurred just before 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The injured firefighter underwent surger and is in the burn unit, according to the report.
CBS 47 indicated that the injured firefighter is 49-year old Pete Dern, a captain with the Fresno Fire Department. Reports say he has been with the department for 25 years.
