Investigation was underway after a fire destroyed about four acres of pallets in Fontana, California, causing about $3 million dollars in damage.
The fire started around 9:55 p.m. on Thanksgiving and was well developed as the first-arriving companies were getting on scene.
A second alarm was requested as was additional equipment to help control the intense fire. Firefighters were able to protect a residence on site and well as numerous 18 wheeler semi trucks and a large commercial building to the west.
The fire could be seen up to 15 miles away burning brightly in the night sky. One firefighter suffered a minor injury and was transported to a local hospital.
There were no reports of civilians injured or evacuated.
