CA Street Burns After Gas Line Break

A gas line broke under a Roseville (CA) street causing a fire that burned for hours, shutting down the road. Footage courtesy of KCRA NBC in Sacramento. The above video shows the effects of the fire on the street.

California utilities have been under scrutiny for gas line problems since the deadly San Bruno explosion in 2010. A recent Training Minutes video from Leigh Hollins discusses a prop for training firefighters on responding to underground natural gas leaks, which you can view HERE.
