CAD systems guide developed by NBS
GUIDE TO COMPUTERAIDED DISPATCH SYSTEMS, a users’ guide for agencies interested in buying or improving their CAD systems, has been developed by the National Bureau of Standards (NBS) Law Enforcement Standards Laboratory.
The NBS guide discusses CAD systems’ operations, benefits, maintenance, repairs, and procurement, as well as the systems’ hardware and software components.
Copies of the guide (NSIR 84-2991/Order number PB#85-187565/AS) are available for $8.50 prepaid from the National Technical Information Service, Springfield, VA 22161.
