At least 25 people were injured late Monday after an explosion and massive fire at a sawmill in British Columbia, Canada.
The injuries ranged from minor to serious in nature, according to a CNN report (http://bit.ly/J7rXJV). Four people were airlifted to hospitals outside the area while 14 were still at a local facility on Tuesday.
The intensity of the explosion shattered windows in businesses several blocks from the scene.
All employees working at the mill at the time of the blast managed to escape. The sawmill part of the mill was entirely destroyed, as well as the log processing and sorting facilities.
Firefighters had contained the fire to the sawmill area, but were still operating at the scene of the fire as of this writing.
