Firefighters responded to a fire that destroyed an old stone home in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania.
According to Montgomery Media, arriving firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the roof. Soon crews were battling fire on the first, second, and third floors, with flames extended to the attic, but companies were pulled because of concerns about structural stability. Firefighters switched to exterior operations, and the fire went to four alarms.
Cheltenham Fire Marshal Joseph O’Neill estimated that 100 firefighters responded to the scene.
Fire photographer Brian Sullivan shared some images from the fire, more of which can be seen HERE.
