Chicago firefighters responded to a 5-11 alarm at a factory on the city’s Northwest side, and fire photographer Tim Olk shared some images from the fireground.
According to ABC 7, thick-black smoke could be seen for miles as crews operated Tuesday at the scene of the fire at Newly Weds Foods. Workers managed to escape safely from the fire.

Officials said the factory mixed baking ingredients, including cooking oil and bread crumbs, which may have helped fuel the fire. One firefighter reportedly sprained his knee during operations, but there were no other injuries, according to the report.
