Firefighter Seriously Injured in Collapse at Chicago House Fire

Chicago firefighters responded Friday to a house fire in the the Auburn Gresham neighborhood that left one firefighter seriously injured, according to reports. Photographer Tim Olk provided some photos from the scene.

According to CBS, the attic of the building was on fire, and crews went into the house to search for residents who were possibly trapped.

The roof collapsed while the firefighters were in the house. One firefighter was taken from the scene in serious-to-critical condition, officials told reporters. All residents reportedly made it out safely.
