A fire station in the Lincoln Park section of Chicago was evacuated briefly after a woman turned in a grenade.
The incident occurred Sunday night, according to the local CBS affiliate (http://cbsloc.al/1fleNAr), and brought in the police bomb and arson squad.
The woman arrived at Fire House Engine 22 at around 7 p.m. and told firefighters she found the device at a family member’s home.

The building was cleared for about a half-hour as the police department team members inspected the grenade, which was determined to be safe and removed.
