Chicago Firefighters Battle 2-11 Alarm Fire from the ‘L’

Fire photographer Tim Olk shared some photos of Chicago firefighters operating defensively at a 2-11 alarm commercial fire at 47th & Prairie on Sunday, October 23, 2022.

Crews operated on the fire from above using tower ladder master streams as well as hoselines positioned on the “L,” the elevated railway platforms for Chicago Transit Authority trains, near the fire scene.
