Fire photographer Steve Redick shared some photos of Chicago fire crews operating at a fire in a dollar store.

This fire occurred on September 12 at Jackson & Kedzie. The construction was described as lightweight, and Redick said access was somewhat difficult as this was right by a major CTA bus barn and the Eisenhower expressway.

Squad 2’s snorkel was enveloped in a fireball when a portion of the roof collapsed, and some firefighters reportedly sustained minor injuries.
