Chicago (IL) firefighters faced water issues while battling a large fire in the city’s Little Village section.
Firefighters responded late Thursday to the fire, which was quickly elevated to three alarms, according to the local NBC affiliate (http://bit.ly/1s9R8VR). Three buildings, several tractor trailers, and a multitude of wooden pallets were destroyed.
Deputy Fire Commissioner Anthony Vasquez told reporters that firefighters faced issues with the water supply, and had to get the local utility to increase water pressure in the area.
It took several hours to extinguish the fire. There were no reported injuries.
