Chicago firefighters make rescue from house fire

Chicago (IL) firefighters rescued two people from a house fire last evening, according to the department’s social media account.

On Monday, December 7, 2020, Chicago fire crews responded to a still and box alarm at 5818 S. Peoria. Firefighters found fire on the first floor of a 1 1/2-story, 25 x 75, ordinary occupied dwelling.

Squad 5 rescued two people: a 66-year-old male and a 70-year-old female.
