Early this morning, a Chevrolet Suburban carrying two adults and nine children rolled over on Interstate 57 on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, injuring the occupants, according to Fire Media Chicago @Twitter.
One adult and one child reportedly were critically injured. All of the occupants were transported to hospitals.
The SUV driver, a 30-year-0ld woman, whose identity was not revealed, was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol and child endangerment. She lost control of the car and drove up an embankment; the car landed on its roof, according to http://www.wics.com.
Only some of the children reportedly were wearing seat belts.
