Chief PETER LAMB of the Lisbon (ME) Fire Department

won the 1998 Executive Fire Officer Scholarship, which is awarded by the International Association of Fire Chiefs Volunteer Chief Officers Section. The scholarship enables volunteer chiefs to attend the Executive Officer Program at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland. VFIS, a division of the Glatfelter Insurance Company, funds two IAFC-VCOS-administered scholarships up to $500 for each year of executive fire officer participation.
