Greene County Sheriff confirms that a four-year-old boy passed away in a fatal trailer fire in Ruckersville on Friday evening. The mother and the two-year-old son was taken to the hospital, and the sheriff says the son was checked out Sunday and that the mother is still in the hospital, reports newsplex.com.
A firefighter was also injured during the fire and is suffering from burns to his arm, but is said to be okay.
Sheriff Smith said he is speaking with investigators today to determine the cause and any motives of the fire.
