Circul-Air to Update “Fire Station Design”

The Circul-Air Corporation is now preparing the ninth edition of its “Fire Station Design.” This publication, as did its eight predecessors, will contain updated information for planning various types of firehouses, fire and police headquarters, municipal buildings, training centers and procedures, pumper test pits, etc.

Fire chiefs and architects interested in participating in this new edition are urged to send the following material to The Circul-Air Corporation at its new headquarters, 29230 Ryan Road, Warren, Mich. 48091: an architect’s drawing of the building or, if this is not available, a glossy black and white photo of the finished building, preferably with a minimum of parked vehicles or other extraneous objects that detract from the quality of the presentation; a black and white copy of the floor plans, preferably the type known as “poche” plans; descriptive copy outlining the features of the station such as location, types of building materials, air conditioning, communications; and credit lines including names and addresses of planners.

Circul-Air has been a sustaining member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs for over 30 years and has exhibited at every conference since 1941. It also was a cofounder of FEMSA and the Great Lakes Box 15 Club, functioning at all conferences since the inception of these organizations.
