CO Fire Chief Dies of Heart Attack at Emergency Scene

The U.S. Fire Administration reported on the death of a fire chief in Colorado while responding to a motor vehicle accident call.

On Saturday, March 20, 2021, Chief Chester Riley with the Nucla Naturita Fire Protection District responded to the scene of an automobile accident.  While at the incident, he experienced a heart attack and passed away. 

Chief Riley was 57 years old.
