April 25-26—Oregon Fire Education Association: Two-day Conference, to be held at the Greenwood Inn, Beaverton, Ore. Immediately following, on April 27-28—There will be a two-day Fire Educator’s School, with emphasis on the teaching of skills and the knowledge to plan, develop, and deliver fire prevention programs to the public. Concurrently with these two events, April 22-30, there is a display of existent programs in action. A guided tour will be given, of the displays to the public. Fire Destroys Peterborough (NH) Home

Firefighters battled a fire Sunday afternoon that destroyed a single-family home on Nichols Road in Peterborough.

Burglary Suspects Dressed As Firefighters Arrested in Los Angeles Fire Zone

Los Angeles authorities said they arrested 29 people in fire zones, including one burglary suspect who was allegedly dressed as a firefighter.
