Hendrickson Boler

The Hendrickson Manufacturing Company has been acquired by Boler Investments, Inc., and has joined Burton Spring Corporation and Nash Brothers Company in forming an international “heavy duty” group/

Included in the purchase are Hendrickson’s Tandem Division and International Corporation, headquatered at Burr Ridge, Ill., plus the Mobile Equipment Division at Lyons, Ill.

PLM Sales Company of Streamwood, Ill., has appointed manufacturer’s representative, land mobile division, for the Northern Illinois/Wisconsin territory of the Antenna Specialists Company, a manufacturer of communications antennas. Partners in the firm are Rich Krzywy and Roger Shane, both engaged in the land mobile communications business in the Chicago area.

Donald N. Meldrum has become the chairman of the board of the fire protection manufacturing group of Philadelphia Suburban Corporation. He has been professionally involved in fire protection engineering since 1956, having served in the capacities of chemical director, technical director, vice president-technical operations, executive and president of National Foam Systems, Inc.

Arthur Dooley & Son, Inc., industrial fire protection company, has announced the appointment of four new vice presidents and one new senior vice president in their Texas and Louisiana offices. The new officers are: senior vice president, Fred Close; vice presidents, Mack Schramme and Don Richert; and assistant vice presidents, Nick Bacile and Glenn Boles.

Conam Inspection, division Nuclear Energy Services, Inc., has announced the acquisition of National Testing Corporation (NTC). The action will enable NTC to broaden its technical capabilities in nondestructive testing of fire fighting equipment. NTC will now move its headquaters to Danbury, Conn.
