SURVIVAIR has appointed DAVID ANDREW BOLLING to the position of regional sales manager for Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Montana, North and South Dakota, and Wyoming. Bolling has a science degree from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi.
ACQUISITIONS
UNITED INDUSTRIAL CORPORATION, the New Yorkbased parent of AAI CORPORATION, has acquired Symtron Systems, Inc., of Fair Lawn. New Jersey. AAI and Symtron have been suppliers of live-fire training systems. John J. Henning, president of Symtron, will serve as president of the new organization.

Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, has replaced more than 15 seven-digit emergency numbers with a new MOTOROLA CENTRALINK 911 enhanced system. Put into operation last August, the system has processed more than 3,000 calls to date. It has four dispatch positions, three call-taker positions, and one supervisory position.
PRC has signed a $5.1 million contract with the city of Boston, Massachusetts, to provide computer-aided dispatching (CAD) support to Boston police, fire, and emergency medical services. When the system is installed, emergency service personnel will be able to share on-line public saftey dispatching information.
