A Lewis County recovery crew located the remains of one person under the debris of a Winlock house fire just before 12:30 p.m., according to police. Investigators have not yet identified the remains, reports king5.com.

A mother and her two daughters are presumed dead after the early-morning fire destroyed a home near downtown Winlock.
