Critically Injured FDNY Firefighter Leaves Hospital

New York, NY – Three months after he was critically injured in a Brooklyn house fire, FDNY firefighter Robert Wiedmann left the hospital Friday morning.

FDNY bagpipers played and a contignent of his firefighter brothers applauded as Wiedmann exited New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Wearing green gloves and white bandages on his arms, Wiedmann mouthed “thank you” to New York’s Bravest before getting into a black limo.
