A Norwalk (CT) firefighter was struck in the face and knocked unconscious Tuesday while operating on a second-floor roof at a house fire.
Firefighter Jack Kelly was on the roof of the two-family home pulling siding when he was struck in the jaw by an unknown object, according to a report on the Norwalk Patch (http://bit.ly/ymXu1T). His colleagues surrounded him, thereby preventing him from falling off the rooftop, and then moved him into the house through a window. He was then taken to an ambulance that transported him.
Kelly was later reported to be in stable condition. There were no other injuries.
