In the early morning hours of Friday, June 19, firefighters with the Dearborn (MI) Fire Department responded to a house fire on Waverly Street on the city’s west end.

The fire spread up in the attic spaces and voids and became difficult to reach. Ladder 4 was deployed with a tower, but was not used after a crew got to the fire from the interior.
Stations 1, 2, 4, and 5 responded with Engines 2, 12, 1, and 4; Ladder 4; and three rescues. Minor injuries to residents and one dog was lost.
