On Monday, April 21, 2014 at 11:34 AM, Delray Beach (FL) Fire-Rescue firefighters responded to a vehicle crash in which a van struck the side of a tractor-trailer, resulting in injuries to the van’s driver and a large fuel spill.

The crash happened on N Congress Ave north of W Atlantic Ave. The tractor-trailer’s fuel tank was ruptured, resulting in about 20 gallons of fuel spilled onto the ground. Removing the van’s driver from the vehicle was impeded by large amounts of fuel on the ground around the van.
