Detector Videotape

A videotape to motivate fire fighters to seek to get smoke detectors into every home has been released by the United States Fire Administration. The 37-minute color tape discusses type of detectors, installation, testing and causes of false alarms.

Produced for the USFA by The Hartford Insurance Group, the videotape features Captain Dennis Ozment of the Minneapolis Fire Department. Ozment for the last year has been on loan to the USFA and has been presenting three-hour smoke detector seminars to fire fighters.
